We Are
Building
On January 14 2024, after much prayer, the members of Royal City Baptist Church voted to move ahead with an addition to our current facility, adding a foyer and new auditorium. This is an exciting time in the life of our church. Our desire is that this new facility will enable us to do more for the glory of God in the city of Guelph and around the world through world wide evangelism!
Project Progress:
1. January 2024 - Voted to build an auditorium addition to our building.
2. January 2024 - Submitted Engineering Agreement to Guenther Homes.
3. March 2024 - Met with project manager, architect and engineering staff.
4. May 2024 - Received Drawings and Renderings of proposed addition.
5. November 2024 - Met with City of Guelph regarding application to build.
6. February 2025 - Awaiting site plan acceptance by City of Guelph.

Dear Praying Friends,
It has been a milder winter this year in comparison to last year. While the slightly warmer weather has meant more snowfall throughout the season, it has also allowed for more melting of snow. This winter has also been very windy. According to the Weather Channel, we had a couple storms when wind gusts reached up to 70 mph!
CHRISTMAS OFFERINGS
We have been blown away by the generosity of God’s people and we want to say thank you to each church and each individual who participated in a missionary Christmas offering. We cannot express how grateful we are for your love and care for us.

HYMNAL PROJECT
We are just a few songs away from reaching our goal of 100 hymns for the hymnal! Lord willing, by our next prayer letter, we will have a completed and printed hymnal. Outside of writing up the last few songs, there are several other things to accomplish; namely, formatting, cover design, and copyright acquisition. We are so excited to finish this hymnal so we can soon use it in the ministry here.
OUTREACH
It is exciting in ministry when we see visitors come, make new contacts, and build relationships. In February, it was such a blessing to have around 20 people come for a church ice cream fellowship. While many might be hesitant to come out right away to a church service, they are often willing to come to a fellowship or activity time during the week. One of the families who came has also started attending Sunday services.
We are also praising the Lord for opportunities to reach out to the Filipinos that live here. We have recently met several ladies who have seemed interested in coming out to church. One of the ladies told us that before moving to Greenland, she roomed with Baptists and would often visit church with them or attend Bible studies. She also said she did not have a Bible with her and asked us if we had one she could have. It was a joy to be able to present that to her this past week! Please pray with us as Aleah looks for ways to continue to build relationships with these ladies.
UPCOMING EVENTS
It is hard to believe that Easter is fast approaching! We are looking forward to having a special service that Sunday with a small music program and a dinner afterwards. Please pray as we work on preparations for this that we would see people come and fruit from this effort!
